This is a great book with some wonderful drawings and great color photos. I visited the Mucha Museum in Prague recently and had to have a book of his life's work. It is a small book 6" x 7" and easy to leaf through. Very nice dust jack with photo as well as the same photo on the hard covering.

BEAUTIFUL book! Arrived well packaged in a hard-sided book style shipping box. Got here on time and was in perfect condition. Gorgeous illustrations and the perfect size for a lovely coffee table or bedside book. There are LOTS of images of his finished works with a nice balance of text. This makes a great gift for any Mucha fan or general lover of art. I knew it would be smaller in size, but that was actually perfect for gifting because it doesn't take up a huge amount of room, yet the square shape and hardcover still makes it feel weighty and very high quality. Special little book! Highly recommended. :)

I love Mucha's work. I love the swishing lines and the muted colors and the way his lithographs just ooze Paris chic. Although I own a couple of Art Nouveau books I decided to grab myself a book about the movement's founder (and master), and couldn't be more glad I did!

Small and compact, what the book lacks in size it more than makes up for in content. While containing brilliant examples of the posters that made him famous, it also features some of his lesser known works such as his drawings, living room panels and porcelain work. The writing is instructive and acts to enhance your appreciation of Mucha's work rather than getting in the way of the gorgeous color reproductions.

For lovers of Mucha's work or the Art Nouveau scene, or even for people intrigued by those typically Parisian posters, this book is a must!

I thought I knew what broken was, after all I was the definition of it.
I thought I mastered the art of recovering from a broken heart; a broken soul.
I thought I would find a new type of strength in the moments of my insane weakness.
But when Reed Collins became the only thing that mattered to me, when he became my beginning, middle and the enviable end, I would never be able to find any strength, because I gave him all of mine.
I was too willing because I loved him. Without reason, without thinking, without fear of consequences, because that’s what loving someone madly really means.
Minutes, days, months went by after I left but no amount of time eased the pain of him not being there. No amount of time could ever lessen my love, my need, my want for him.
Now I’m back, having to face every truth I ran away from. Lies were told. But even after all the indescribable pain he caused, I still love him. Still want him. Still breathe for him.
I’m starting to wonder if that will ever change.

A fabulous story - loved Hadley and Reed

The cliff hanger at the end of the first book is picked right back up again at the very beginning of this book, so please make sure that you have read the first book.
I got straight on with the story but a few pages in I pulled myself to an abrupt halt and went back a reread the end of book one (not exactly a hardship) and I have to say that gathering my thoughts up like that meant that this book was more intense.
Hadley, I love the fact that this was her opportunity to shine, her chance to grown into the woman that she needed to be and her chance to let Reed in.
So now I have mentioned the man himself – I can say nothing else about him other than the fact that she is quite simply an amazing man.
Yes he is a bad boy – not a bad thing in my book.
But he is a fighter in and out of the right and out of the right the only thing he is fighting for is Hadley and that is one fight he has no intention of losing.
It wasn’t a smooth journey by any stretch of the imagination but then the book wouldn’t be half as good if it was.
The obstacles they had to work through made them better people, it was relatable and although at times it appeared as if it was almost enough to break them it was just like real life, they had to listen, understand and learn and only by doing so were they able to give me the confidence that what they had was the real deal.
Much like the first book, this book is beautifully constructed, it is wonderfully descriptive and it give up all the answers that I was looking for.

Oh how I loved this book

Oh how I loved this book! We get to see Hadley become the strong character we all wanted her to be and see Reed step up and be who she needs. I truly enjoyed watching these characters grow. Just like the first book this is filled with ups and downs, a roller coaster ride, and I loved ever second of it. I could feel all the emotions as they were happening. I'm sad that their story is over but I can't wait to see what is next from SL Ziegler!!

What a awesome story. At first I was like oh this better go how I want it to. But reading how much Hadley found and put herself first was amazing. But she knew deep down she still needed Reed. There was so much she had to go through and find out, and then Reed and her had so many more obstacles to get through... this was a amazing emotional book.

Beautiful and informative!

I believe this book is intended to be a more educational resource book for those in the architectural field, but it is delightful for the novice who just appreciates great design!! Beautiful to look at as well as enjoyable to read through. Bell offers her readers the opportunity to visit projects all around the world from the comfort of their armchairs, with informative and easy-to-navigate information explaining the materials behind the projects.
